Back in 2019, a significant security breach impacted Cannabis.com, leading to the exposure of gigabytes of sensitive SQL data. This breach goes beyond the typical data leak, involving far more than just basic contact information. The compromised data includes home addresses, identification numbers, and even scanned copies of official documents.

In addition, the breach contains full transaction histories, including details on cannabis purchases, such as product types, quantities, and information about dispensary employees.

What makes this breach particularly concerning is the fact that all this data was stored in an unsecured Amazon S3 bucket, which was left completely unprotected, making it accessible to anyone who found it. This oversight opened the door for bad actors to take advantage of this treasure trove of information.

The data, split into seven files of 500MB each, was compressed and is available for further analysis. For those interested in obtaining the complete dataset, feel free to reach out for more details.
